The Association of Information Technology Forensic Experts - IT Expert Witness, was established in 2002 with the aim of gathering, engaging and organizing experts in the fields of IT, digital processing, signal transmission and artificial intelligence, and making their knowledge available to government structures and businesses, as it would help to resolve disputes arising from cases of misuse and other criminal activities in the mentioned areas as fairly as possible, and above all to prevent such actions.
The Association is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, based on membership voluntariness, which can only survive if it aligns its undoubtedly socially useful work with the vital interests of all entities that professionally require reliable and secure implementation of IT.
All members of the Association, in addition to professional qualifications, should also meet the standards prescribed by the Code of Ethics of the Association, which regulates the relationship to expert work, to the court, to the parties, to other experts and the obligation to keep secrets.
